Event Details:
Due to COVID-19, the event will take place virtually on Friday, September 18th, the 40th anniversary of our organization. The event will begin at 10am and will include a keynote and Q&A with Cyntoia Brown-Long (view her bio here), followed by breakout sessions to identify and discuss some of the most pressing racial equity and gender justice issues needing our ACTion and support. Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan will also join us to share some remarks. The event will also include performances from local womxn artists.
Morning Session Agenda: includes the Welcome, a performance, Cyntoia Brown-Long keynote and Q&A, and cohort breakout sessions.
Afternoon Session Agenda: includes continuation of cohort breakout sessions, report out from each cohort breakout, remarks from Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan, performance and wrap up.
